Wearing time

  • Daily contact lenses

Daily disposable contact lenses are soft contact lenses for single use – they are worn for only one day and then disposed of.

Therefore, cleaning or storage is not necessary, which makes them particularly hygienic.

Their thin design offers a high level of comfort and makes them ideal for sensitive eyes or an active lifestyle.

Due to their higher price, daily contact lenses are particularly suitable for occasional wear as a practical alternative to glasses.

Due to the individual packaging, daily disposable contact lenses are not very resource-efficient and should definitely be disposed of in the residual waste after use - otherwise they decompose into microplastics and end up in the groundwater.

  • Weekly lenses

Weekly lenses are soft contact lenses that are worn for a period of one to two weeks.

They are usually available as monthly lenses, thus offering comfortable wear and a balance between a slightly longer usage period and hygiene.

During their use, they must be cleaned daily and stored safely.

  • Monthly contact lenses

Monthly lenses are soft contact lenses that are changed every 30 days.

Due to their ease of use and wide selection of brands and types, they enjoy great popularity.

Monthly contact lenses are a good choice for frequent use, provided the geometry and material are well-suited to the eye. They correct all common refractive errors.

The daily wearing time depends on the material, individual characteristics of the eye and the recommendation of your optician.

  • Six-month and 3-month lenses

Six-month or three-month lenses are soft contact lenses that are worn for three to six months.

They are usually individually tailored and are ideal for eyes with "non-average" geometries, high diopter values, or persistent discomfort when wearing conventional contact lenses.

Eyes are as individual as feet – and just as not every shoe fits everyone, not every contact lens fits every eye.

Their precise adjustment offers an optimal fit and enables better long-term compatibility.

  • Annual lenses

Annual contact lenses are available in soft and rigid (hard) versions.

They are always individually tailored and are suitable for all diopters or rare visual impairments as well as for myopia prevention.

Rigidly stable versions offer precise correction for simple and complex vision problems with the best image quality.

Careful maintenance is essential, as the lenses should be worn comfortably for a year.

  • Colored contact lenses

Colored contact lenses are only available in soft versions. They are offered in various wearing schedules and colors (including annual lenses with iris print).

These contact lenses are available both as cosmetic lenses (without diopters to change the iris color) and with diopters to simultaneously correct refractive errors.

Type of vision correction

  • Nearsightedness & Farsightedness - Spherical

Spherical contact lenses (also called single-vision lenses) have the same optical effect in all directions and correct nearsightedness or farsightedness.

They offer a wide field of vision and often better visual acuity than glasses.

They are available in soft and rigid versions – as daily, monthly or yearly lenses.

To order, we need your prescription, base curve, and diameter.

  • Astigmatism - toric

Toric contact lenses are specially shaped to correct corneal astigmatism.

They often also correct nearsightedness or farsightedness and ensure stable, clear vision. They are available in soft and rigid gas-permeable versions – as daily, monthly, or yearly lenses.

In addition to prescription, base curve, and diameter, cylinder and axis positions are also required for ordering. Individual fitting by your specialist is necessary.

  • Presbyopia - multifocal

Multifocal contact lenses correct age-related farsightedness (presbyopia) and allow you to see clearly both near and far – similar to progressive lenses.

Ordering these lenses requires not only the standard prescription but also the near addition. Because multiple optical zones for different distances are combined, precise, individual fitting by your optician is essential to ensure optimal visual comfort.
